About The Position

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP security clearance. The annual base salary range for this position is $54,000 to $60,000 in Mississauga, ON. This position is for a current vacancy.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment with strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and perform inspections on the shop floor for extended periods.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, inspection techniques, and measurement tools.
  • Required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with Honeywell environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies.
  • Ability to operate and work with precision measurement instruments.
  • Must maintain high levels of attention to detail to support a zero-defect manufacturing environment.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams on the shop floor.
  • Ability to document inspection results accurately.
  • Comfortable working in a regulated aerospace environment, including audit readiness and traceability requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with aerospace, manufacturing, or regulated industries is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • IPC 610 and IPC 620 certification is an asset.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings/weekends, based on production demands.
  • Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision while making critical quality decisions.
  • Willingness to work require shifts or extended hours as needed by business.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of aerospace parts and assemblies using precision measurement tools and visual examination techniques as per the established processes.
  • Document inspection results accurately and report any non-conformances or defects to the quality team for corrective action.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Complete accurate records on paper and information system, including inspection reports, training records, equipment maintenance logs, continuous improvement initiatives and corrective action for continuous improvement.
  • Support audits (internal, customer, regulatory) and ensure audit readiness.
