About The Position

This role is for a Senior Inspector responsible for complex inspections, ensuring product and process specifications are met, and mentoring junior inspectors.

Requirements

  • 5 years of inspection experience.
  • Familiarity with advanced inspection tools.
  • Advanced understanding of schematics, wiring practices, insulation systems, and clearance/creepage requirements.
  • Required Certification: IPC-A-610 and IPC-WHMA-A-620 (current).

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Certifications: ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced inspections using measurement tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
  • Read drawings and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product.
  • Verify in-process and final product conformance on high-voltage assemblies and test setups.
  • Lead First Article Inspections (FAIs) and document results in accordance with AS9102 or equivalent standards.
  • Document nonconformities and prepare inspection reports.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other inspectors.
  • Support calibration and equipment verification.
  • Maintain inspection records per quality management system requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
  • Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
  • Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
  • Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications.
  • Resolve quality-related issues and adhere to deadlines.
  • Prepare documentation of the inspection process, which includes detailed reports and performance records.
  • Direct assembly adjustments to ensure operations reflect quality standards.
  • Put accessory together for product before shipment.
  • Perform Quality Audit.
  • Perform necessary transactions in ERP system.
  • Train and mentor Inspectors I–II on inspection methods, test procedures, and safety practices.
