This role involves performing hands-on pipe inspection tasks in a plant environment. The primary responsibilities include inspecting pipe according to written procedures and quality requirements, verifying pipe condition (cleanliness, coating, outside diameter, and inside diameter), and ensuring it is ready for inspection. The inspector will also confirm that inspection equipment is properly calibrated, identify and evaluate pipe imperfections, clean and lubricate thread connections, and support a clean and safe work environment through in-plant housekeeping. Adherence to all company safety, quality, and operational procedures is mandatory. Job duties also include lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials or equipment, occasionally exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force and/or frequently exerting 25 to 50 pounds of force to move objects. The role requires basic math and measurement skills, the ability to read and follow simple written instructions, and clear communication with team members and supervisors. Additional duties may be assigned.
