Perform tire grading and quality inspections to ensure compliance with Continental and global quality standards, classify and disposition off-standard products, and support production quality processes. Maintain accurate quality records, operate bead heating equipment, and uphold all environmental, safety, and quality management requirements. Inspect, grade, and classify tires to ensure compliance with Continental quality standards. Determine disposition and next process steps for off-standard or non-conforming tires. Evaluate tires returned from uniformity, balancing, weighing, and over-inspection processes. Accurately enter and maintain quality-related data in grading systems. Identify quality issues and take appropriate corrective actions, including notifying stakeholders and stopping equipment when necessary. Operate bead heating machines according to established procedures. Rotate across shifts as needed to support production requirements. Follow Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures and promote a strong safety culture. Maintain knowledge of Continental quality standards, off-standard catalogs, and applicable QMS certifications and requirements. Be self-managed, detail-oriented, and capable of performing under pressure. Follow all plant, ESH, CBS, quality, and department processes and procedures. Other duties as assigned.
