About The Position

As an Inspector here at Pursuit Aerospace, you will have the opportunity to be immersed in a high-paced manufacturing environment. Working alongside the production team, and fellow inspectors, you will be responsible for ensuring product being produced meets all our customer needs and specifications.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Working knowledge of basic inspection tools (i.e. dial calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.)
  • 3 months experience understanding and reading basic blueprint requirements (i.e. notes, dimensional lines, section views, symbols, etc.)
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Multi-tasking abilities, adept to managing frequent shifts in priorities
  • Must be organized, follow direction, along with company quality standards put in place
  • 6 months experience using inspection methods (height gage, optical comparator, pi tapes, etc.) is a plus
  • Attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Verifies dimensional and visual conformance to customer requirements
  • Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts and scrap
  • Variable data collection and completion of inspection records using basic inspection tools and methods
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications and confer with quality, engineering, or leadership staff to determine conformance of product
  • Manage production inspection needs, along with finished product
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Will need to be engaged with Flow Line to help keep product moving
  • Will be required to do first pieces throughout the day
