About The Position

AECOM is seeking an Inspector to be based in Rocky Hill, CT. This role involves monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements through daily field inspections and maintaining inspection records. The position also includes participation in punch lists, testing, and commissioning, tracking quality assurance progress, and providing input for documentation related to area and equipment turnovers. The role relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines and works under immediate supervision.

Requirements

High school graduate plus four years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Transportation-related construction experience.
NICET certification or the ability to become NICET certified.
Highway & bridge related experience.
Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and overnights.
