About The Position

This is a second shift position, Monday - Thursday, 3:15 PM to 1:15 AM. The purpose of this position is to provide inspection support for quality, manufacturing, and engineering. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
One to three years in optical mechanical inspection with Coordinate Measuring Machine experience desired.
Experience in handling precision components.
Basic blueprint reading and comprehension.
Computer fluency to include Windows 10 and newer.

Nice To Haves

Standard drawing practices, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) is desired.

Responsibilities

Program and set up CMMs to perform dimensional measurements and inspections according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Operate CMM equipment to collect measurement data and perform inspections on workpieces.
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of CMM equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Analyze measurement data and inspection results to determine the conformance of parts and identify any non-conformities.
Generate inspection reports and documentation to record measurement results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality-related issues and suggest process improvements.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
