About The Position

Based in Haltom City the Inspector C will perform essential job functions associated with heat treatment under the direction of the Quality Manager to meet customer specifications, including assisting other employees as needed. This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customers’ inventory and, as such, will perform duties safely and responsibly to prevent customer loss or damage. Training will start on 1st shift. After training, employee will move to 2nd shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum zero to two years in the heat treating industry or related field.
Must have working knowledge of all testing equipment and terminology.
Must have some experience reading/interpreting blueprints, be detail-oriented, and possess manual dexterity.
Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.
Knowledge and hands-on experience of computer applications, including Microsoft Office and databases, is required.
Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; candidates must be U.S. Citizens or permanent resident cardholders.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and basic physical.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of commercial and aerospace materials and heat-treating equipment is desired.

Responsibilities

Accurately perform hardness and other tests and record results as required.
Complete conformance and other related paperwork; perform shop audits and/or reviews as required.
Report any deviation, problem, or irregularity to the supervisor or management.
Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
Perform other tasks as designated by the position.
