About The Position

The Inspector C will be responsible for reviewing work order documentation, inspecting parts using basic hand gauges, and ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate to support shipping. This role also involves part marking, creating nonconformance records, maintaining inspection records, and performing administrative duties as assigned. The position operates on a day shift.

Requirements

• Understanding of basic engineering print principals.
• Must be able to pass a required annual vision test.
• Organizational multi-tasking skills.
• Communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a challenging and schedule driven environment.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years’ minimum quality and/or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with basic hand gaging (calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review work order documentation including Router and IMS for completion.
• Inspect part characteristics using basic hand gages as required.
• Make copies to support shipping documentation of material and processing certs along with evidence of special processing as required by customer.
• Part Mark product according to instructions.
• Create and update internal nonconformance records as needed.
• Maintain completed work order records according to traceability and evidence of inspection retention requirements.
• Administrative duties as assigned.
