About The Position

Inspector 2 performs operational work related to receipt, inspection, grading, shipment, storage, distribution or delivery of products, parts and materials. Loads, unloads, moves or stores items according to routing documents or supervisor instructions.

Requirements

• Proficient operation of inspection stations (cross tie inspection and switch tie inspection) at or above target production levels.
• Ability to perform duties of machine operator and laborer positions.
• Ability to complete daily inspection and maintenance reports.
• Ability to identify operational issues.
• Ability to perform daily maintenance for assigned station.
• Participation in company safety program.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily maintenance for assigned station.
• Participates and contributes to company safety program.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
