Position Summary The Inspections Records Analyst is responsible for maintaining aircraft engine, equipment, and maintenance/inspection records and documentation as required. The position is directly responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining processes required by vendors for CLA’s managed aircraft. The position is also responsible for maintaining knowledge of specialized regulatory and business processes critical to operations. Location: Van Nuys, CA (KVNY) Compensation: $85,000 - $98,000 /per year; Eligible for comprehensive benefits.

  • Schedules are subject to change. Employees must be available to work flexible hours as changes occur, examples include overtime, holidays, and covering time-off for the team.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members.
  • Provide oversight and direction to employees.
  • Provides safe, reliable, on-time, airworthy aircraft in support of customer requirements.
  • Review and analysis of maintenance records/documentation requirements in compliance with FAR 91 and 135 requirements.
  • Provides guidance related to regulatory matters and business processes.
  • Review and monitor MEL’s prior expiration date for CLA 91 and 135 fleet.
  • Assist with conformity data collection for new onboarding aircraft.
  • Review and audit aircraft hours in FL3XX.
  • Track and report necessary items to the CASS program.
  • Track airframe and engine hours and cycles daily.
  • Provide aircraft data for audits and tax information.
  • Be involved with various audits. (FAA/Argus/Wyvern/ISBAO, etc.).
  • Audit work packages for proper tracking and logbook entries.
  • Providing required aircraft information for service program invoices.
  • Maintain airframe and engine historical log records and books; maintain time and/or calendar records for all aircraft engines, components and parts/equipment.
  • Aircraft records inventory.
  • Maintain and track vendor approval list, and audit renewals.
  • Maintain and track employee records and audit renewals.
  • Record, upload and attach all documents related to aircraft as needed.
  • Record documents (Logbooks and various maintenance documents).
  • Other duties and tasks assigned.
