About The Position
Responsible for the analysis of inpatient and outpatient records in Cerner Millennium for compliance with documentation requirements according to Medical Staff by-laws, DNV/ISO (Det Norsek/International Organization for Standardization) and DOH (Department of Health) standards. Assigns deficiencies to providers in Cerner Millennium. Responsible for prepping, scanning, quality control and validation of inpatient and outpatient paper medical records into Cerner Millennium
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- less than one year of previous work related experience
- three to six months of on the job training and orientation
- communication skills needed to frequently answer telephone calls
- ability to work with multiple interruptions and still sustain positive communication
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency of Microsoft Office preferred
