About The Position

University Behavioral Center of Orlando, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), is committed to providing intensive mental health services to children, adolescents and adults as well as detox and substance abuse programs for adults. Our mental health facility provides safe and effective inpatient treatment to assist individuals in leading more productive and fulfilling lives. The facility is located on a beautiful 14-acre campus in Orlando, Florida, and includes 112 licensed beds.
Position Summary: Perform duties associated with the support of all aspects of clinical information system. This position provides on going Cerner education to facility employees and physicians. Provides audit and documentation support to Performance Improvement department and reports findings as needed. Provides support to the Cerner Clinical Analyst and HIM department.

Requirements

• High school education or GED preferred
• Minimum one (2) years in healthcare environment preferred
• Understanding of Clinical workflow and operational processes within interdepartmentally
• Advanced working knowledge of Clinical information systems (Cerner)

Responsibilities

• Audits active patient charts for completeness of documentation
• Provides ongoing support and management of clinical information systems (Cerner)
• New hire training for clinical information system (Cerner)
• Provides backup to the Clinical Analyst and HIM department as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position
