INSPECTIONS FLOOR SUPERVISION
About The Position
The Inspections Floor Supervisor inspects cleaned rooms and public areas to ensure they meet brand, safety, and cleanliness standards. This role supports room attendants, provides feedback, and helps resolve housekeeping issues throughout the shift. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, takes pride in ensuring rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, enjoys coaching others, checking quality, and helping the housekeeping team deliver an excellent guest experience. This is a leadership role with hands-on involvement, offering opportunities to grow within housekeeping and hotel operations.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or inspection experience required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and coaching skills
- Reliable, organized, and able to multitask
- Able to walk, bend, lift, and inspect rooms throughout the shift
- Flexible to work any shifts, including holidays and weekends
Responsibilities
- Inspect guest rooms, hallways, and public areas for cleanliness and quality
- Verify that rooms meet brand standards before releasing them for guest use
- Support and guide housekeeping staff during daily operations
- Assist with training room attendants on procedures and expectations
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
- Help manage linen needs, supply levels, and cart organization
- Communicate room status updates with the front desk and management
- Assist with cleaning tasks when needed
