About The Position

Inspect/Parts Drying- The individual will enter the tag number of the transmission in the computer. They will inspect all parts for damage following established criteria and order parts needed. They will dry parts when the washer is done. If any of the parts are dirty, they will soda blast the part to remove dirt. Additionally, various tools will be used to straighten out oil pans. This position may require using a sanding block, lathe to polish parts, soda blaster, grind bearings or burrs using a die grinder.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours).
• Ability to use handheld tools such as grinders, measuring tools, welding torches.
