Requirements

  • Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information to identify issues and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures, guidelines, and safety requirements.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established safety policies and procedures.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to stoop, bend, and crawl underneath equipment as required to complete inspections.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office, Windows, and related programs.
  • Minimum of one year of consistent employment and/or educational experience.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • TIA certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect tractors and trailers to identify required repairs and maintenance needs, ensuring all components are thoroughly evaluated.
  • Accurately document inspection findings and enter detailed information into company computer systems; communicate repair needs to the shop or service providers as necessary.
  • Adhere to the company tire program for all tractors and trailers.
  • Identify maintenance and repair opportunities on equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance.
  • Follow all applicable TIA rules, safety standards, and company protocols to ensure personal safety and the safety of drivers.
  • Resolve issues efficiently to support drivers and customers while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Consistently follow established procedures, policies, and operational guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide constructive feedback to leadership.
  • Promote and share best practices across the team to improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a professional work environment and consistently demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
