As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of excellence. You’ll perform detailed inspections of parts, assemblies, raw materials, tooling, and instruments throughout various stages of the manufacturing process. Using a range of inspection methods and tools, you’ll validate that every component aligns with design data, engineering drawings, specifications, and contract requirements—helping maintain product integrity and customer trust. This position is based at our Santa Isabel, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

Requirements

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • SAP knowledge
  • No disciplinary actions in record (5 years)
  • Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English (verbal and written)
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • Knowledge of statistical process control
  • Possess knowledge of aerospace industry standards
  • Participate in RRCA processes at Quality Clinic (CPS)
  • Manage special inspection processes

Responsibilities

  • Read and interprets drawings, schematics, work instruction sheets, and standards
  • Experience using inspection tool measuring devices (micrometers, gauges, scales, calipers, etc.) is required to verify specifications
  • Perform basic random audits of all assembly processes, procedures, and products.
  • Work closely with supervisors and/or engineering to improve processes or report major or critical inspection issues
  • Examine materials and sub-assemblies daily and reject product using product procedures, specifications, and drawings.
  • Recognize and identify discrepancies between work instruction sheets and plans
  • Prepare QN and Reword Record Work documentation of non-conformities in the systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data and quality procedures
  • Make decisions based on established criteria and/or standards, including stopping the process when necessary
  • Performing routine and/or repetitive functions, they require your own judgment
  • Must have worked in the final inspection area or performed functions.
  • May be required to perform additional responsibilities in another area or building
  • Knowledge of statistical process control
  • Identify and suggests improvements in inspection plans and processes
  • Possess knowledge of aerospace industry standards
  • Participate in RRCA processes at Quality Clinic (CPS)
  • Manage special inspection processes
  • An essential function of this role is the ability to accurately see, read, and interpret information on screens and materials for extended periods.
  • Successfully complete a post offer vision examination.
