About The Position

FAR Inspections is seeking a reliable independent contractor to perform residential mortgage inspections in Juniata County, Pennsylvania, and surrounding communities. This is an opportunity to earn supplemental or full-time income on your own schedule. As a Field Inspector, you will perform brief, exterior residential occupancy verifications to confirm property status and report on general conditions. This role offers autonomy in managing your own routing, schedule, and territory, with standard inspections designed for speed (5-6 minutes on-site). You will enjoy stable, month-to-month volume in your assigned county. The role requires spending extended periods driving and making numerous stops throughout the day in a spacious rural county with longer drives between stops. A fuel-efficient vehicle and comfort with country roads are valuable.

Requirements

Reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle.
Smartphone (Android or iPhone) capable of running mobile reporting apps.
Computer with an internet connection and a printer.
Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines without direct supervision.
Ability to pass a standard background check.
