We're looking for a Quality Control Inspector to help ensure aerospace components meet customer, regulatory, and company quality standards throughout the manufacturing and repair process. In this role, you'll perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections, review documentation for compliance, identify nonconformances, and support continuous improvement efforts that drive product quality and delivery performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, including reading and interpreting technical documentation.
  • 1+ years of quality inspection, manufacturing quality, or related experience.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and similar inspection equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountability.

Nice To Haves

  • Aerospace manufacturing, repair, or MRO experience.
  • Experience working within AS9100, FAA, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
  • Experience reviewing certifications, traceability records, and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform receiving, in-process, outsourcing, and final inspections on aerospace components.
  • Review customer specifications, contract requirements, work instructions, and technical documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Verify part counts, serial numbers, lot control, and product traceability throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Conduct visual inspections and perform dimensional checks using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Identify, document, and help resolve nonconforming conditions and quality discrepancies.
  • Review certifications and documentation from suppliers and outside processing vendors.
  • Audit manufacturing documentation and routing instructions to verify completion of required operations.
  • Support production teams by troubleshooting quality concerns and recommending corrective actions.
  • Package and certify completed products in accordance with customer and company requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, repeatability, mistake-proofing, and process efficiency.
