The Inspection Manager is responsible for the full operational oversight of Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) inspection services under a large, federally funded program. This role ensures compliance with HUD inspection standards, including Housing Quality Standards (HQS) and National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate (NSPIRE), while managing a contractor-led inspection team and supporting program performance. The Inspection Manager serves as the primary liaison between inspection operations and broader program functions, ensuring alignment with eligibility, leasing, recertification, and compliance activities. This position is accountable for inspection quality, timeliness, regulatory compliance, and customer service outcomes. The role operates within the framework of a large-scale voucher program (approximately 20,000+ vouchers) requiring annual inspections, real-time data management, and performance reporting.
