Inspection Lead
About The Position
The Inspection Lead is responsible for safe operations, monitoring the drying process, and overseeing inspection, printing, and packaging employees. This role involves ensuring adherence to batch record specifications and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), fostering a team environment, and providing hands-on training. The lead will also manage the organization of drying rooms and tunnels, report any out-of-specification capsules, and ensure proper cleaning and gowning procedures are followed. Additionally, the Inspection Lead will suggest procedure revisions for efficiency and ensure equipment is operated safely.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to batch record specifications.
- Assure that SOP's are followed and production performed in accordance with GMP.
- Foster a team environment by promoting a teamwork atmosphere with all employees.
- Provide "hands-on" training to new inspection employees.
- Ensure bins, trays, and containers have attached tags or form identification.
- Monitor drying process.
- Organize drying room and tunnels, segregate by product and lot.
- Report out-of-specification capsules to Supervisor and QA.
- Assure employees properly clean bins, trays, containers and equipment.
- Assure employees adhere to gowning procedures.
- Assure employees operate equipment in a safe manner.
- Report any foul play, accidents and complaints to Supervisor, Management and/or HR.
- Suggest procedure revisions that produce efficiency in Drying, Inspection, Printing and Packaging areas.
