About The Position

HIWIN Corporation is the leader in the innovation and manufacturing of motion control and mechatronic system technology. We are one of the largest producers in the world of linear motion components such as: linear guideways, ballscrews, linear motors and stages. We are currently seeking an Inspection I Associate to join our fast-paced, diverse, and safety-centric team. This role focuses on inspecting components, verifying conformance to specifications, and helping maintain high-quality standards that support both our operations and customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation
• Precision measurement and inspection tools experience
• Basic math skills (measurement and tolerances – metric)
• Mechanical aptitude; able to work safely in a manufacturing environment (lift up to 40 pounds)

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to verify product quality and meet engineering specifications
• Use precision tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) for dimensional checks
• Read blueprints and apply GD&T to ensure accuracy
• Document results, identify defects, and support quality improvements
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve issues
