About The Position

Our Oshawa office is seeking an Insolvency Advisor to join the Personal Debt Solutions team. This is a replacement position that requires a regular in-office presence. The role involves performing initial consultations to assess debtor situations, recommending appropriate options (training will be provided), and assisting debtors and creditors with bankruptcies and proposals. It also includes reviewing interview forms, preparing files for client signing, and engaging in community outreach, business development, presentations, and social media promotion for personal debt solutions.

Requirements

2 years or more in Customer Service, financial services insolvency, banking, credit Counseling, or other relevant area
Great interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with team members, debtors, and creditors
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in various situations
Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Takes personal ownership and responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
Excellent time management and organizational skills
A team player who can also work independently
Available to work one evening shift a week until 7:30pm

Responsibilities
