About The Position

The Information Security Analyst II provides research, evaluation, assessment, operational, reporting, and analytical support for Technology Controls and Information Security programs and initiatives. The role may participate in and provide advice and guidance on cybersecurity projects of moderate complexity. It provides enterprise-wide cybersecurity subject matter expertise, responds to security incidents, performs research and root-cause analysis, and develops remediation plans. The analyst also supports projects, reporting, process documentation, gap analysis, and threat assessment while managing their workload under management guidance.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Sound knowledge of one or more technology controls or information security domains, disciplines, and practices.
• Sound knowledge of organizational, technology controls, security, and risk issues.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Information security certification or accreditation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Respond to security incidents and provide guidance, research, root-cause analysis, and remediation plans.
• Participate in projects of low to moderate complexity within the area of specialization and provide advice and guidance.
• Assemble and contribute enterprise-level metrics for internal, managerial, and regulatory reporting.
• Research and document enterprise-level processes and create gap analysis reports.
• Analyze enterprise-wide reports, malware alerts, emerging threats, and potential impacts on the Bank’s state of controls; recommend action plans to management.
• Prioritize and manage workload to deliver quality results and meet timelines under management guidance.
