About The Position

The Inside Sales role focuses on negotiating prices with customers to optimize profitability and enhance the company's competitive position. This role involves preparing accurate price quotes, collaborating with various departments for informed decision-making, and developing a deep understanding of product offerings and company processes. The position also requires utilizing market insights to drive sales growth and profitability, fostering interdepartmental communication, and staying updated on industry trends. Additionally, the role contributes to refining pricing strategies, identifying process improvements, and developing sales strategies through campaigns and out-calling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in sales or pricing roles preferred.
  • Microsoft Office applications preferred.
  • Metal ERP system experience preferred (preferably AS400).

  • Foster effective communication and collaboration across departments, ensuring seamless customer experience and expectation fulfillment.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape to make informed pricing recommendations.
  • Continuously refine pricing strategies based on data analysis and market feedback.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the overall efficiency of the sales workflow.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and goals, working towards the overall success of the company through campaigns & out calling.
