About The Position

Dorse & Company, a member of the AIR Control Concepts family, is an HVAC distributor for the Pacific Northwest. They focus on understanding customer needs, leveraging decades of HVAC supplier experience, and utilizing specialized teams to create solutions. Their service extends beyond the sale with standard procedures for shipment tracking, follow-up, and jobsite delivery. Founded in 1965 by Bob Dorse, the company was sold in 1995 and is now solely owned by Will Leahy, who continues to uphold the core values. The Dorse team possesses extensive collective HVAC experience, providing deep, unmatched understanding of the commercial HVAC industry in their market.

Requirements

• High School education required.
• Sales experience
• Strong communications skills for phones, email and in-person
• Experience working in a high-volume business.
• Operate computer using Microsoft office software including Word & Excel
• Customer service experience
• Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Internet and Order Processing. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer commodity product support.
• Process commodity and warehouse product sales.
• Answer in-bound customer phone calls.
• Provide support for Account Management staff by answering customer requests.
• Process orders received by phone, email and walk-ins.
• Check ship status, track orders and forward information to customers.
• Assist customers in warranty issues and freight claims.
• Coordinate project deliveries.
• Assist with order picking as needed.
• Input orders into Fishbowl.
• Review and cleanup Fishbowl open orders weekly.
• Process credits for customer returns.
• Prepare UPS shipments.
