About The Position

SouthernCarlson is hiring an Inside Sales Representative who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and delivering an exceptional service experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships by providing knowledgeable product support and sales expertise.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of sales or counter sales experience in the construction industry
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proven problem-solver with a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships and maintain trust
  • Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Develop expert knowledge of our products, services, and solutions.
  • Conduct inside sales activities including follow-up on incoming leads, quoting, and order processing.
  • Build relationships with customers by understanding their needs and recommending the right products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with outside sales and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Support customers with updates on orders, deliveries, and any account-related issues.
  • Prepare and deliver effective solutions-driven sales materials.
