About The Position

SouthernCarlson is seeking an Inside Sales Representative who is passionate about assisting customers, resolving issues, and delivering an outstanding service experience. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in a dynamic setting and enjoy fostering relationships through expert product knowledge and sales acumen.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of sales or counter sales experience in the construction industry
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proven problem-solver with a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships and maintain trust
  • Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of company products, services, and solutions.
  • Perform inside sales duties, including following up on incoming leads, generating quotes, and processing orders.
  • Cultivate customer relationships by understanding their requirements and suggesting appropriate products and solutions.
  • Coordinate with outside sales and warehouse personnel to ensure prompt delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide customers with updates on their orders, deliveries, and any account-related concerns.
  • Create and present compelling, solutions-oriented sales materials.
