About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in driving sales by managing inbound customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate quotes, following up on open opportunities, and supporting the outside sales team. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of phone and email communications while maintaining strong customer relationships and CRM documentation.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in business, sales, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or account management.
  • Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and collaborative team mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in industrial, HVAC, or plumbing supply industries.
  • Familiarity with ERP/order entry systems (e.g., Eclipse, SAP, NetSuite).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound phone calls and emails from customers regarding orders, pricing, product availability, and delivery.
  • Prepare and process customer quotes quickly and accurately using ERP and CRM systems.
  • Follow up on outstanding quotes and proposals to convert leads into sales.
  • Document all customer interactions and opportunities in the CRM platform in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with outside sales, customer service, and purchasing teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to support customers in selecting appropriate solutions.
  • Resolve customer concerns or escalate issues to appropriate departments as needed.
  • Support marketing initiatives and sales campaigns by following up on leads and promotional offers.
  • Assist with account management tasks including order tracking, returns, and invoicing support.
  • Meet individual and team performance metrics related to response times, sales targets, and customer satisfaction.
