About The Position
Scott Electric Company, founded in 1946 and headquartered in Greensburg, PA, is a leading independent electrical distributor with multiple locations across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, and West Virginia. We are seeking career-oriented individuals to serve a diverse customer base, including electrical and mechanical contractors, industrial clients, government agencies, municipalities, and retail hardware and building supply markets. Scott Electric Company is dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace and values the diverse perspectives of all employees. All employees are required to sign an Employment Agreement with a restrictive covenant (Non-Compete, Non-Disclosure). This is a Full-Time Inside Sales position at our Greensburg, PA, branch, operating Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, including strong phone, interpersonal, verbal, and written skills
- Sales experience with excellent customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical products
- Energetic, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Strong ethics and ability to work independently or collaborate with team members
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Must submit a background check and drug testing
Responsibilities
- Serve a wide range of customers with needs including electrical, mechanical, industrial, and others
- Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
