Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Inside Counter Sales Representative is primarily responsible for executing the Colony mission of customer service. They are responsible for facilitating sales by processing orders and quotations while providing application and product expertise to existing Colony customers through phone, email, and in person. They also assist with operations in the yard, including rebar fabrication, tilt brace inspections, and loading/staging material. Schedule: 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday (overtime as needed/on occasion) A Little About Your Day: You will work directly with customers (either face-to-face or over phone/email) to ensure they order the right products and that the orders are ready on time. Working face to face with customers you will provide a consultative approach to customer service, suggesting additional and alternative products, add-ons, and other support. You will coordinate with outside sales, operations, purchasing, and other departments to process orders. You will oversee the Tilt Brace operations, including receiving and shipment of large pipe braces, communicating with customers as needed. You will fill in where needed with rebar fabrication operations, including handling various lengths/sizes of steel reinforcement bar, bundling with steel wire, and staging/loading material via forklift.
