New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to provide internal and external sales support to achieve new customer goals, margin and customer satisfaction goals.

Requirements

• High School diploma is required, as associates degree is preferred
• 0 to 3 years of sales or administrative experience preferred
• Organized, positive and highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment across business units and professional disciplines
• Knowledge of Word, Outlook and other desktop applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound marketing and sales calls.
• Manage opportunities and create accurate leads, coding and remarks in the Customer Information System.
• Screen and qualify new construction, conversion and renewal marketing and sales inquiries.
• Provide market intelligence to assist new program development and initiatives.
• Manage, balance and dispatch field work based on customer needs and marketing resources.
• Proactively initiate activities to ensure high customer satisfaction levels.
• Key contact and resource for marketing program initiatives, examples include renewal program, generator inquiries, Realtor Program, Employee Lead Program, Community Conversion Program.
