About The Position

Inside Sales Specialists serve as the initial point of contact for sales customers, representing the dealer group with a professional and helpful demeanor. This role involves managing a high volume of sales customer inquiries and assisting the sales department(s) in scheduling appointments. The specialist is responsible for handling inquiries across various channels including email, chat, text, and phone, with the primary goal of setting appointments that lead to sales.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage incoming internet/phone inquiries and proactively pursue additional customer leads.
  • Ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge about product information and promotions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers through phone, text, emails, and chats.
  • Ability to respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally using provided templates.
  • Ability to set quality appointments.
  • Ability to follow up with any “no show” appointment to see when is best for the customer to reschedule.
  • Ability to listen and be attentive to customer needs and priorities to provide appropriate suggestions and guidance on vehicle offerings.
  • Ability to provide superior customer service and achieve the highest degree of customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to meet specified monthly targets and goals.
  • Ability to contribute to the overall success of the motor group by working collaboratively and professionally with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to make 60-100 calls per day, including new leads, prior leads, incoming calls, unsold follow-up, and early lease terminations.
  • Punctuality (be at work on time or early).
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Team-oriented with a desire to achieve both individual and collective goals.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Ability to repeat the same movements for 7 hours a day.
  • Ability to occasionally lift boxes up to 10 lbs.
  • Ability to occasionally bend, walk, and maintain mobility.
  • Ability to get in and out of vehicles.
  • Ability to shovel/assist with snow removal when necessary.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop/bend, and reach.
  • Ability to speak clearly and repetitiously for up to 7-8 hours a day.

  • Be at work on time or early (no exceptions).
  • Provide excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Be team-oriented with a desire to achieve both individual and collective goals.
  • All other duties assigned by management.
