About The Position

Monkey Wrench Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electric is seeking an enthusiastic Remote Inside Sales Specialist who knows how to turn conversations into closed deals and sales opportunities into revenue. This role is for a confident, persuasive, and results-driven sales professional who can build rapport quickly, uncover customer needs, overcome objections, and confidently ask for the sale. You’ll proactively engage existing and prospective customers, follow up relentlessly on leads and unsold opportunities, recommend the right solutions, and guide customers toward making a purchasing decision. Success in this role comes down to results - you MUST be able to close the deal, generate revenue, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets. Requirements

  • Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to understand financial factors that impact profitability and business performance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and modern sales/CRM applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to customers from service invoices, unsold field leads, and other sales opportunities.
  • Follow up on leads promptly and consistently to maximize conversion opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities to meet their needs with the right products and services.
  • Negotiate and close sales while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the CRM and company databases.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and departmental sales targets.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Create positive customer experiences that build enthusiasm for our company, inspire referrals, and strengthen our reputation in the marketplace.
  • Maintain and update our customer database with complete and accurate information.
