About The Position

Hajoca Corporation, a large privately-held wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating & cooling, and industrial supplies, is seeking an Inside Sales & Service Supervisor for its Dahl Plumbing trade name in Denver, CO. This role involves supervising a team of Inside Sales & Service Representatives, providing training, establishing revenue and margin targets with the Profit Center Manager, and serving as an escalated point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns. The supervisor will process sales orders and bids, grow and retain customer base through telemarketing, meet GP targets, resolve customer issues, and support overall Profit Center activities. The position also requires communicating customer credit risk changes to management and completing assigned safety and compliance training.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in customer service or inside sales; contractor sales preferred.
Knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center preferred.
Possess leadership qualities and be viewed as a leader.
Have experience promoting a productive and positive team environment, coaching staff to do their best work to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Effectively use Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel) to communicate via email, to maintain weekly sales plans, call reports, and customer contact files, and to analyze customer data.
Demonstrate outstanding customer service, telephone/verbal communication, and generous listening skills.
Demonstrate product knowledge to answer customer questions and identify opportunities to upsell or cross sell.
Build influential relationships and trust with customers and vendors through open and interactive communication.
Be able to ask probing questions to understand customer needs, overcome objections by recommending profitable solutions, explain our value-added services, and ask for the order and close the sale.
Be able to build positive working relationships and inspire teamwork with co-workers.
Be able to learn and operate the computer related systems used to process orders.
Be able to learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment.
Read, write, speak, and understand English.
Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

Supervise a team of Inside Sales & Service Representatives.
Provide training and guidance to the Inside Sales team to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Work with the Profit Center Manger to establish revenue and margin targets.
Serve as an escalated point of contact for customers with inquiries or concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Process Sales Orders and Bids generated through telephone sales transactions.
Grow and retain an established customer base and develop new business using outbound telemarketing campaigns.
Meet or exceed the Profit Center’s monthly required GP targets.
Assist customers in all aspects of their orders.
Investigate and resolve customer problems; address pricing deductions and material returns timely and in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
Support Counter Sales and Outside Sales activities and all Profit Center activities as part of our Profit Center team.
Communicate to the Profit Center Manager and Credit Manager any changes in a customer’s business that might cause a credit risk.
Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
