Eaton's North American Sales division is currently seeking a Inside Sales Representative. This is a hybrid role located in our Waukesha, WI facility. What you’ll do: The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) will work cooperatively with our outside sales channels, internal Marketing and Product teams as well as other internal/external partners to deliver exceptional customer service and sales support. Collaboratively, the ISR will work to grow Eaton’s customer base in the Power Systems segment, and to help to exceed sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction. In this function you will: Support sales regions to meet monthly / quarterly / annual sales goals established by the business. Demonstrate the ability to professionally manage a high level of daily customer requests through email, chat, and telephone calls while performing other required tasks. Establish and maintain the highest possible commercial relations with present and potential customers (internal and external) by gaining intelligence of our customer’s business and sharing pertinent knowledge of Eaton product lines, marketing tools, and strategic plans. Respond to field sales and customer channel inquiries including price, lead time, and Eaton’s selling policy. Do so in a manner consistent with established division profit, sales, and customer satisfaction objectives. Coordinate with marketing and sales to provide key product and marketing Information to customers upon their request, being resourceful to gather data and share digital solutions with our customers to promote self-help tools. Provide product and technical Information to our sales channel contacts upon request to support generation of sales for markets served. Be a key resource for our sales channels/customers to expedite orders and provide order status information. Provide solutions and alternatives to customers to meet their shipment needs; working closely with our Logistics team to do so. Provide direction and solutions on process improvements, focusing on efficiencies, increasing customer satisfaction and the support of digital tools. Act as the key contact for field sales and our customers sharing Information from our functional departments to include engineering, manufacturing, marketing, logistics, and demand planning. Accurately process customer quotes and coordinate renewal of quotes as required. Follow-up on orders and quotations and provide information and updates to customers and sales channel partners. Facilitate timely responses to customer issues by utilizing available resources or creating procedures for resolution. Demonstrate proficiency in departmental software applications used to include quote tool, ERP System, and other digital applications. Train peers and customers as appropriate. Serve as a mentor, and support for internal teams and departments. Lead project teams and serve as team member for special projects to drive continuous improvement and the team’s performance, driving digital solutions.
