About The Position

All Star Rents, a family-owned Equipment Rental business established in 1962 and operated by the 3rd generation, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for its Elk Grove location. This is a critical, customer-focused position offering the opportunity to learn the business and equipment. It is a full-time, hourly position that requires Saturday shifts, with all shifts ending before 5:30 PM. The role includes introductory 90-day "Bootcamp Training" to learn about servicing equipment and customers the All Star Rents way.

Requirements

• 18 years or older.
• Valid CA driver’s license with satisfactory record.
• Valid proof of eligibility to work in the US.
• Be able to lift 50lbs unaided.
• Computer Literacy- Typing and understanding computers/technology and basic software (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe PDF, etc.).
• Some mechanical aptitude and knowledge of construction equipment.
• Professional communication skills in English both written and verbal.
• A serious attitude towards safety in the workplace.
• Satisfactory Background check.
• Pass 4panel drug screening.
• Choose a drug free lifestyle.
• Be a team player with a positive attitude that likes to have fun at work.

Responsibilities

• Working primarily at a sales counter handling phone calls and walk-in customers.
• Schedule work orders and complete customer contracts.
• Maintain a proven track record of success selling new and used equipment for the branch.
• Responsible for Showroom cleanliness and organization.
• Follow up with customers regarding rentals.
• Commission new jobs as necessary.
• Use knowledge of equipment to increase sales and drive business.
• Loading and unloading equipment for customers and assisting with safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Delivering equipment as needed.
• Keeping safety top priority.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Any tasks, processes, and procedures delegated by supervisor.
• Maintain professional appearance as a representative of All Star Rents.
