The Inside Sales Specialist plays a key part in driving revenue for the company. You will focus on converting unsold estimates, rescuing missed opportunities, supporting technicians with high-authority closes, and strengthening relationships with Beacon customers. Your work ensures that no opportunity gets left behind and that every customer feels supported, informed, and excited to do business with us. This is a growth-minded role where your influence directly impacts the success of the entire service team.

Requirements

  • Strong sales background with proven closing experience
  • Confident communicator who can build rapport quickly and naturally
  • Tech-savvy, organized, and able to manage a high volume of follow-ups
  • Motivated, independent worker with the drive to hit goals and exceed expectations
  • Excellent listener with strong negotiation skills
  • Positive attitude, high energy, and an alignment with Beacon’s core values

  • Experience in the trades or home services field is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on all unsold jobs , un booked leads, and canceled opportunities
  • Perform high-authority closes on potential zero calls while techs are in the field
  • Review estimates for correct pricing and ensure discounts are not applied prematurely
  • Convert missed opportunities from invoices and sales proposals into closed revenue
  • Make relationship-building “Happy Calls” to reinforce trust and uncover additional needs
  • Help customers understand value, overcome objections, and confidently move forward
  • Attend in-person technician trainings and team meetings to collaborate and support
  • Maintain exceptional communication and alignment with dispatch, technicians, and managers
  • Track follow-ups, follow-up calendars, and outcomes with consistent organization
  • Support permitting or administrative processes when needed
