About The Position

This position is responsible for servicing, maintaining and growing existing accounts and pursuing new opportunities while working closely with Outside Sales and Management. Normal activities include providing product information, pricing, and technical support. The role involves executing and delivering upon a defined set of Best Business Practices for the Inside Sales role, including Quoting, Sourcing, Closing Orders, Accurate Order Entry, Outcalls, Leads and Opportunities, and using the Curbell Selling System, CRM and Sales Tools. The representative will develop strong relationships with strategic customers, calculate, quote, and negotiate price, delivery, and terms of sale. They will uncover new opportunities with customers by leveraging relationships and asking market related questions, introduce new materials to customers and educate them on use and applications. The position also requires following up on existing quotes, closing sales on existing and new business, and proactively making outcalls to current and potential customers. Using the SAP CRM system, the representative will review, verify, and input customer contacts, quotes and orders, and manage customer information in SAP and CRM to increase customer service experience. Communication with Outside Sales, Purchasing and Management on new developments, sourcing and key account information is also a key part of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Providing product information, pricing, and technical support.
  • Executing and delivering upon a defined set of Best Business Practices for the Inside Sales role, including Quoting, Sourcing, Closing Orders, Accurate Order Entry, Outcalls, Leads and Opportunities, and use of Curbell Selling System, CRM and Sales Tools.

  • Calculating, quoting, and negotiating price, delivery, and terms of sale.
  • Uncovering new opportunities with customers by leveraging relationships and asking market related questions.
  • Introducing new materials to customers and educating them on use and applications.
  • Following up on existing quotes, closing sales on existing and new business and proactively making outcalls to current and potential customers.
  • Using the SAP CRM system, reviewing, verifying, and inputting customer contacts, quotes and orders.
  • Managing customer information in SAP and CRM.
  • Using SAP CRM information to increase customer service experience.
  • Communicating with Outside Sales, Purchasing and Management on new developments, sourcing and key account information.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
