About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Representative, also known as an Equipment Rental Specialist. This role is the company’s front-line contact with customers, responsible for understanding their equipment needs, negotiating, and placing rental orders for construction and industrial equipment. The position requires strong administrative skills and a commitment to delivering customer satisfaction through a professional attitude. This role offers steady hours with potential overtime and opportunities for career growth through an outside sales or operational management track.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED required
Valid Driver’s license required
Familiarity with various types of construction/industrial tools & equipment
Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more
Working indoors/outdoors when required by the job

Nice To Haves

Previous equipment rental industry experience
Strong customer service & telephone skills
Solid computer and administrative skills
Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process preferred
Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be preferred in some locations

Responsibilities

Support telephone and walk-in customers with rentals of all types of construction/industrial equipment.
Understand customer equipment needs.
Negotiate and place rental orders.
