This position is responsible for servicing, maintaining and growing existing accounts and pursuing new opportunities while working closely with Outside Sales and Management. Normal activities include providing product information, pricing, and technical support. The role involves executing and delivering upon a defined set of Best Business Practices for the Inside Sales role, including Quoting, Sourcing, Closing Orders, Accurate Order Entry, Outcalls, Leads and Opportunities, and use of Curbell Selling System, CRM and Sales Tools. The representative will develop strong relationships with strategic customers, calculate, quote, and negotiate price, delivery, and terms of sale. They will uncover new opportunities, introduce new materials, and educate customers on their use and applications. Follow-up on existing quotes, closing sales, and proactively making outcalls to current and potential customers are also key aspects. The role also involves managing customer information in SAP and CRM to enhance customer service and communicating with Outside Sales, Purchasing, and Management on new developments, sourcing, and key account information.
