About The Position

ORDR is looking for an Inside Sales Representative with a hunter mindset and the drive to turn prospect interest into qualified opportunities. This role offers room to grow for individuals with 2-3 years of SDR experience in cybersecurity who are ready to own more of the sales conversation. The representative will be responsible for the early stages of account engagement, including identifying prospects, opening doors, leading discovery, and building relationships. The focus will be on understanding customer needs, connecting them to ORDR's value, and maintaining momentum until the opportunity is ready for a Sales Director. This role involves partnering with sales and technical teams to enhance discovery skills, product knowledge, and sales judgment. Success is defined by creating qualified pipeline and providing Sales Directors with the necessary context to advance opportunities. There is a potential path to a full Account Executive position based on performance and business needs.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of SDR/BDR experience at a cybersecurity or complex B2B SaaS company, with a proven track record of meeting pipeline targets.
  • A hunter mindset: proactively identify and pursue new accounts, open doors with cold outreach, and create opportunities through persistent, thoughtful follow-up. Motivated by winning new business and comfortable initiating conversations with prospects who may not yet know ORDR.
  • A strong desire to build on meeting generation skills through discovery and account development.
  • Strong professional presence and communication skills, with the ability to make outreach relevant to technical and senior business stakeholders.
  • Intellectual curiosity, with the ability to ask thoughtful questions, listen actively, and connect customer pain points to business value.
  • Strong organization, proactive follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency using CRM systems and modern sales engagement tools.
  • Sound commercial judgment regarding when to continue developing an account and when to hand off to a Sales Director.
