About The Position

Jake’s Heating, Air & Plumbing is growing and seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join their team. This role requires a proactive individual who can generate opportunities, follow up consistently, and convert missed or canceled appointments into booked services for both HVAC and Plumbing departments. The position emphasizes creating opportunities and driving revenue through outbound calls and diligent follow-up.

Requirements

• Previous inside sales experience
• Strong phone and communication skills
• A proven ability to sell and close
• The drive to make outbound calls and create their own opportunities
• Excellent follow up and organizational skills
• Confidence talking with customers and overcoming objections
• A competitive mindset and desire to hit goals
• The ability to stay organized while managing multiple leads and follow ups
• A team first attitude while still being motivated by individual results

Nice To Haves

• Home service, HVAC, plumbing, or similar industry experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Follow up with customers who canceled or didn’t move forward with their appointment
• Reconnect with previous customers and identify new service or replacement opportunities
• Help generate additional HVAC and plumbing revenue through outbound calls and follow up
• Build relationships with customers and understand what they need
• Follow up on open opportunities instead of letting them fall through the cracks
• Keep detailed and organized notes on customer conversations and follow ups
• Work closely with our HVAC, Plumbing, Call Center, and Sales teams
• Meet individual sales and revenue goals
• Stay persistent, professional, and positive, even when the first answer is “no”

Benefits

• Base Salary: $40,000 to $45,000 per year
• Plus 3% commission on anything you sell
