Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter with excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong basic math skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • General office functions knowledge and a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and enter quotations, sales orders, and purchase orders for products and services.
  • Work closely with the Outside Sales team, valve, gasket, and pump shops to ensure accurate and timely order processing.
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Build effective relationships and trust with customers through active listening and understanding of their needs.
  • Follow up and expedite customer orders as needed, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with vendors on purchase orders, maintaining effective communication channels.
  • Maintain both digital and physical files accurately to ensure easy retrieval of information.
  • Provide backup support for other Inside Sales representatives during their absence.
  • Complete required training to gain knowledge of the company's product lines.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Be punctual with a strong attendance record.
