About The Position

As an Inside Sales Representative, you are the hub of activity at our Edmonton showroom. You’ll work with walk-in customers, inbound leads, contractors and trade accounts. Armed with a premium product lineup and a strong brand, your job is to assess needs, provide expert recommendations and guide customers through the selection process. This is a people-first, high-volume sales role that rewards relationship builders who are sharp, knowledgeable, and driven to close.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of inside sales, showroom, or counter sales experience
  • Experience in windows, doors, building materials, or home improvement is a strong asset
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a high-volume, multi-channel environment
  • Strong product knowledge aptitude — you learn technical specifications quickly and translate them into clear, customer-friendly recommendations
  • Excellent communication skills across in-person, phone, and email channels; you adapt your style to homeowners and trade professionals alike
  • Organized and detail-oriented with experience managing quotes, proposals, and follow-up activity in a CRM system
  • A natural relationship builder — you remember names, follow through on commitments, and make customers feel genuinely valued

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and serve walk-in customers in the showroom, delivering a premium, consultative experience from first greeting to signed agreement
  • Manage inbound leads across all channels - phone, email, web, and showroom - with prompt, professional follow-up
  • Support and grow contractor and trade accounts through proactive relationship management and a deep understanding of their project needs
  • Assess customer needs and recommend the right window and door solutions from Durabuilt’s full product lineup
  • Prepare accurate quotes and proposals using CRM tools, ensuring every detail is correct before it goes to the customer
  • Follow up consistently on open opportunities to advance deals through the pipeline and reduce lost quotes
  • Build a strong referral and repeat business base by delivering exceptional service that earns long-term loyalty
  • Collaborate closely with estimating, operations, and installation teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and satisfied customers
