About The Position

For the past 80+ years, M&D has led the aftermarket in remanufacturing innovation to address technological advancements and changing customer needs. In the past few decades, we have expanded beyond our remanufacturing roots to develop close (and sometimes exclusive) partnerships with the world’s leading OEMs and manufacturers. Those partnerships with key suppliers like Bosch, Garrett, Federal Mogul, Cummins, Stanadyne, Holset, BorgWarner, Delphi, Yanmar, Mitsubishi, Denso and others have been critical in honing our remanufacturing capabilities and expanding our parts offering to include new, no core options in fuel injectors and fuel pumps, diesel engine cylinder heads, blocks, crankshafts and connecting rods. M&D also stocks a complete assortment of turbos (new and remanufactured), inframe overhaul kits, filtration and aftertreatment parts including DPFs, DOCs, EGRs, sensors and other engine parts. Our strong remanufacturing roots combined with our 48 branch locations, a nationwide outside sales team of 25 and our close OEM & Manufacturer partnerships make us unique in the industry – no one understands diesel engine failure analysis and parts better than M&D. Requirements

  • Inside Sales Experience Preferred.
  • Diesel engine parts experience required.
  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
  • Bilingual a plus - Spanish and English.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening.
  • Fosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with walk-in customers at the front counter
  • Assist customers in selecting required parts and recommend associated products and services
  • Receive and process orders via the counter, phone, and email
  • Informs customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer
  • Answers questions from customers or individuals on how a product operates or direct them to the person that can assist them
  • Assists with any customer service issues that may arise
  • Responsible for both Incoming/Outbound Sales Calls
  • Achieves assigned performance goals and objectives as set by management to grow parts business
  • Develops new leads by utilizing all available resources, including referrals, web, and other electronic media
  • Maximizes current customer potential by using all available resources, including but not limited to CRM contact and data mining tools, purchase analysis to determine growth opportunities, regular contact with owners and key decision makers, developing and leveraging relationships, maintaining current knowledge of new product and market developments
  • Documents all relevant account activity in the CRM tool or other appropriate areas
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
