About The Position

We’re seeking a driven, customer focused Inside Sales Representative to generate new business and support existing customers by setting qualified appointments for our outside sales team. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator with a talent for building trust, forging connections, and keeping customers’ needs front and center. This role is built for someone who thrives on outbound activity, organization, and persistence. The most successful people in this position are self-motivated, positive, and relentless in pursuing opportunities. You’ll use Salesforce daily to manage leads, track outreach and ensure no opportunity slips through the cracks.

Requirements

  • Strong experience using lead generation and sales intelligence platforms such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, CRM databases, and other prospecting tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in a B2B or service-based sales environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with fire protection, life safety or security services preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively research and build targeted lead lists, identifying key decision makers and high-potential businesses.
  • Execute outbound call and email campaigns thoroughly to introduce Silco’s services, qualify prospects and schedule appointments for the outside sales team.
  • Thoroughly work each call project ensuring every contact receives the optimum number of touches, timely follow-up and consistent communication.
  • Leverage creative outbound strategies to open doors, cross-sell additional services and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
  • Maintain a steady pipeline of qualified opportunities to help drive new business and support company growth.
  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and convert qualified opportunities into scheduled appointments for the outside sales team.
  • Engage thoughtfully with each lead by listening actively, asking insightful questions and positioning Silco’s offerings as the best fit for their needs.
  • Follow up consistently to nurture relationships, build trust and move prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Collaborate closely with outside sales, ensuring a seamless handoff and successful appointment outcomes.
  • Use Salesforce daily to track every interaction, log details and manage leads through the pipeline with accuracy and accountability.
  • Provide accurate information to customers regarding services, scheduling and expectations to ensure clarity and confidence before the appointment.
  • Confirm and coordinate all appointment details to ensure a seamless experience for both the customer and the sales team.
  • Document thoroughly and communicate proactively with outside sales to ensure they are fully prepared to make a strong, informed impression during every appointment.
