About The Position

Position Summary: The Inside Sales Representative sells lubricants, related services, recycling and collection services for batteries and other waste materials for both Vesco Oil and Vesco Oil Clean Energy LLC, through phone, email, and digital platforms, to generate revenue and support field sales efforts. Work to build customer relationships, identify needs, qualify leads, and manage accounts, frequently collaborating with sales teams to cover accounts more effectively Essential Functions: Source new business leads through all avenues, researching markets, developing call lists and cold calling. Maintain and expand relationships with our current customers and identify new customers. Achieve monthly sales objectives and exceed sales standards Identify decision makers associated with the targeted leads Work closely with Manager to determine the necessary strategic sales approach Follow up on new leads and referrals Present and sell company products and services to current and potential customers Document calls and other client account information in our CRM system and the follow-up applications Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge concerning the products and the industries Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of lubricants, oils or industrial equipment
  • Ability to learn CRM system
  • Must have experience in cold calling
  • Must be highly motivated and possess a strong desire for success
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Strong track record in sales growth and strong follow up skills
  • Demonstrated history of fulfilling commitments and responding precisely and timely to customer/staff inquiries, emails and telephone calls
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook
  • Ability to effectively make presentations, lead discussions and negotiate
  • Strong closing skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience in successful sales practices and methods
  • Minimum 2 years business-to-business (B2B) sales experience in the oil lubricant business
  • Ability to travel to other Vesco locations occasionally.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with recycling and/or battery products preferred but not required.
