About The Position

Perennials and Sutherland, LLC is a highly respected name in the luxury home furnishings, textiles, and accessories market, serving the trade exclusively for over four decades. The company is dedicated to creating and marketing unique products in collaboration with top designers. The role involves working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment within the flagship Houston David Sutherland Showroom. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for luxury products. Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus monthly commission.

Requirements

• Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Suite – Word/Excel/Powerpoint
• Microsoft Outlook – Inbox Management
• Minimum of two years of inside sales experience, order processing, payment deposits
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Physical Requirements- must be able to lift and move up to 10#
• Sitting, standing and walking throughout the day

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
• Experience in Salesforce a plus, or other CRM system

Responsibilities

• Engage with potential and existing clients in person, via phone, email and online platforms to understand their needs and preferences.
• Collaborate on interiors projects, including client needs, conceptual and schematic design, design development, and management of budgets and schedules.
• Resolve customer concerns regarding products and services to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Create detailed and accurate sales quotes detailing selected products, quantities, and pricing, presenting timely and professionally, with appropriately timed client follow-up.
• Using Salesforce, maintain accurate records of all communications, quotes and client interactions.
• Strive to achieve and exceed sales goals given by showroom.
• Collaborate as a team to generate new clients and cultivate sales.
