About The Position

This is a core inside sales role responsible for supporting contractors, managing quotes and orders, and handling project-related documentation such as submittals and O&Ms. You’ll work closely with customers, outside sales, and operations to ensure jobs move forward without delays. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and a solid understanding of plumbing supply materials. This is not just order entry, it’s about understanding the job, anticipating needs, and supporting customers at a high level.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of plumbing supply, HVAC, or building materials experience
  • Strong understanding of how jobs are built and materials are used
  • Experience with Epicor Eclipse, Excel, and submittal tools (SpecBooks preferred)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Professional communication and customer service mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the Austin market and customer base is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and support customer inquiries
  • Prepare and manage quotes, orders, and pricing
  • Enter and process orders accurately in Epicor Eclipse
  • Support counter sales as needed during peak times
  • Create and manage submittals and O&M documentation
  • Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure order accuracy and delivery
  • Follow up on backorders, timelines, and customer needs
  • Support existing customer relationships and contribute to new business opportunities
